I decided to make a new mix for my muxtape page – this time an exclusively Radiohead mix. Having the good fortune to see them play earlier this month in Atlanta was part of my inspiration for doing this; but also, for some time now, I have been a big fan of shuffling all of their records in iTunes or on the iPod. Doing this really provides a much greater appreciation of the band’s full body of work. Because the bulk of it flows so well and so seamlessly in an almost incommunicable way, it’s as if to only listen to a part of it would be like only having one very nice piece of a larger intricate picture or hearing just one intriguing part of a conversation that kept on going back and forth for hours into the night.

In making the mix, both to narrow down the song choices and to make it a particularly interesting challenge, I decided to impose the rule that I could only pick songs that were not included in the setlist in Atlanta that I would have really liked to hear. Enjoy the mix at abetaunit.muxtape.com.
